Kingwood and Delaware Townships welcome the “Fighting 15” at local rally
The “Fighting 15,” including State Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson, State Assemblyman Anthony S. Verrelli and State Senator Shirley K. Turner turned out at a recent event to show their support for Hunterdon County and local Kingwood and Delaware Township municipal committee candidates. The event was held on Saturday, July 29 at the Kingwood Park Pavillion.
Over 50 voters had the opportunity to meet with the LD15 incumbents, in addition to candidates Dan Connor, who’s running for Hunterdon County Commissioner, Maureen Syrnick, Kingwood Township committee, Susan Lockwood and Peter McCrohan for Delaware Township committee.
“All the candidates were so inspiring,” said Leslie Bella, co-chair of the Kingwood Democrats. “There was great energy despite the melting heat. Kingwood, along with our neighbors in Delaware Township are proud to be part of NJ LD15 and join forces to assure fair and open government at the state, county and local level.”
The Republican party is in disarray nationally and locally. By introducing the old guard to the ticket here is a reflection of the same overdevelopment plans of the past. Our 1st class community deserves the finest preservation possible and voting Peter with our lone incumbent is priority 1. Dude-VOTE
